How it all started!
During a trip to Brittany, we decided to embark on this exciting adventure. We discovered and tested the Gerys 4.7 (dinghy) and immediately became friends with its manufacturer Erwan. We had a lot of fun, despite the waves, the boat was so stable and safe that from then on we couldn’t get rid of the grin.
Moreover, the boat already rose above the waves during the first attempts and we could feel the sensation of flying above the water. So we decided to bring these boats to Engadin to share the pleasure of foil sailing with others.

Meet Margaux and Mathias, founders Lakefly.ch GmbH.
My father passed on his passion for sailing to me. I was versatile, from lasers to windsurfing to catamarans I like to try everything.
Since 2020 I also teach at the Ski School Suvretta in St. Moritz. Outdoors in the mountains or on the lake is where I feel most at home. The Engadine is the perfect place for me, here I feel at home and can pursue all my passions, skiing in winter and sailing in summer.
Since a few summers I have been lucky enough to teach sailing on Lake Sils & Lake St. Moritz. I love teaching just as much as I love Engadin, which offers countless activities and opportunities in both summer and winter.
Originally from the canton of Solothurn, I am now at home here in St. Moritz. Sailing fascinates me in all its forms, from ice sailing in winter to foiling in summer. I am a great enthusiast and never miss an opportunity to follow the performances on the big sailing stage. From Alinghi at the America`s Cup to the Route du Rhum, I love watching these state-of-the-art sea monsters gracefully move across the waves.
